Mille Lacs Lake MN Fishing Reports

The crosby area has been having a pretty good year. With the late ice out the walleyes were slow but this last week its really heating up. Fish are done with the spawn and putting on the feed bags. Rocks, weeds and points have all been good. Its tough to beat a jig and shiner but leeches under floats have also been producing fish at night.

Trout action on the areas mine pits has been great. Limits are common. The nice part is you don't even need a boat. Spoons and spinners are hot now with the cool water. The crappies are going in full force now. Most are hanging around the spawning areas waiting for the water to warm. Bobbers and small jigs are your best baits.
